159.2

Woo Hoo!! I'm in the 150's!! So unbelievable. I can't find it, but somewhere I recorded that I weighed 260.2 at one point. So that means I have lost 100 pounds from my highest weight ever. I was 256.6 when I started WW in March, 2018. Getting close! Finish this week strong and one more good week--I can get my 100 pound award at WW!

I feel so good. I feel like I look so good. I love my clothes. I got a few new things in the mail from Kohl's--a white/mint/bling top, size medium; a rose-colored sweater/shell--size medium; cute tan striped capris that are a little big in the waist--size medium. It's so fun. And I want this wonderful feeling to continue forever.

Keep planning, keep preparing, keep active, keep making good choices, keep walking, keep drinking water. Keep focused on the vision for a healthy life.

168.6

Last week of school (for teachers). I'll be done tomorrow. I'm struggling a little with eating clean. Too many BLT's at school and home. I want to be 100% on program, lower points, more water, more steps. I want my weight loss to continue. I've been from 166 to 169, up and down, the last 2 weeks, like when I was in the low 170's.

I need to remember that all those BLT's are not a part of my program and are adding extra calories that are keeping my weight from dropping.

So today--100% on program, 0% off. Good choices, extra water, extra steps. Be positive. Focus on where I am today and where I want to be tomorrow. Focus on the fun new clothes. Focus on hitting 100# loss this summer. "Start where you are." Make this a good June.

179.8

I can't believe I'm in the 170's! I have no idea when I last was. It feels so good. I'd really like to make it to 176.6 by a week from Thursday (1 year anniversary). But even if I don't, I have so much to be proud of. It's so much fun buying a wearing new clothes. I can't wait for it to be spring. I tried on a bunch of things in my closet and got rid of several bags of clothes.

Keep doing what I'm doing: planning, preparing, tracking, walking, positive thoughts. Stay away from teachers' workroom food. Try to eat earlier in the evening. More water. Keep up the good work!

185.2

Snow day! Icy roads this morning, snow coming this afternoon. I plan to clean the bathroom cupboards and work on the JUGS financial report. Maybe more kitchen cupboard cleaning. Stay busy! Stay on track. Stay healthy.

Almost one year ago I logged my weight on Fitbit: 260.4 lbs. on Jan. 29, 2018. I have lost 75 pounds in one year. YAY!! It's still unbelievable to me that I went back to Weight Watchers and how well it has been working for me. Sally asked me that at the last meeting as I was standing in front of everyone in recognition of my 70 pound milestone. Did I think when I joined in March that I would be here today? I answered no, because I had joined and rejoined and joined and rejoined. But I heard Sally respond to someone who had lamented rejoining: "This is a new time." It is. I was able to put all of that behind me and focus on THIS time.

Staying successful:

  • Tracking, planning
  • Variety of foods
  • Following successes on Connect
  • Loving new clothes
  • Enjoying walking
  • Enjoying being able to move easier
  • Weekly workshops
  • Being grateful
  • Enjoying weight losses, but also appreciating maintaining
  • William Anderson's book and wise words

187.6

Second day in a row at this weight! 8 pounds below last Friday. 1.4 pounds below weigh-in two weeks ago. Having the flu helped give me a kickstart, but I have had good days Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I threw away some food, packaged up more. I'll take some to school, freeze some, avoid the rest. Positive decisions, planning, sticking to it, visualizing. I'd like to reread parts of the Anderson book to go along with WW's focus on mindset.

Also this year:

  • Continue cleaning and getting rid of unwanted/unnecessary items. Kind of like 40 bags in 40 days. Bathroom cupboards/drawers, other drawers and cupboards, computer files, more. Keep getting rid of basement stuff in family room, pool room, shower room, under steps.
  • Get toys out of attic. Decide: save or get rid of.
  • Go to more community activities and events, concerts, plays, etc.
  • Go on dates with my husband.
  • Eat more meals together and play games with Dave.
  • Get outside more, even in the winter.
  • Handwrite letters, cards, notes to people.
  • Visit my parents and Mom S. more regularly. Call.
  • Control spending on needless things.
  • Paint our bedroom.
  • Organize vacuum closet.
  • This spring/summer: clean up farm.
